Storytime

Storytime is a mobile app that helps kids read, listen and learn through animated stories, quizzes and AI read-along voices, with a parent account that controls what children see. I worked on the production React Native app shipped to iOS and Android. Parents browse stories by category, age group, season and daily top picks, save favourites and build a library. They can also have an AI story written from their own idea and watch it come together live, with progress streamed from the server. Each story can be read or listened to in a chosen narrator voice, with audio generated in batches, and ends with a quiz. Premium is sold through in-app purchases on the App Store and Google Play, with restore purchases, coupon codes and a free-story quota for guests. The app also covers sign-in with Apple and Google, push notifications with per-type settings, a parental gate for sensitive actions, and crash and error reporting.
